Equipment Technician and Installer

Job Summary

Don Parker Sales has openings for an Equipment Installers and Service Technicians based in the Greater Pittsburgh area to install, service, repair and maintain equipment in the automotive and car wash industry. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are capable of the following:

Job Duties

• On the job and factory training
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools, or power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Install equipment, or structures, using tools, hoists, drills, wrenches, etc.
• Occasional out of town work

Job Qualifications

• Comfortable with a fast-paced work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Employee regularly works in a variety of environments; mechanical rooms, working automobile garages and new construction sites
• Position requires some heavy lifting
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and heights

Physical Demands

Ability to lift 50lbs independently. The candidate should have the ability to go up and down ladders continuously throughout the work day. The candidate will work independently and with a team.
